Non-RHA Images:

  • Traditional Fundus Photo: There is only a suggestion of a bull's eye pattern
  • FAF: There is an extensive area of hypo autofluorescence in an annular bull's eye pattern, indicating retinal atrophy
  • IVFA: Hyperfluorescence in a bull's eye pattern is seen here
  • OCT: Cystic changes are seen as is the characteristic flying saucer sign. In addition there are multiple white dots adjacent to the RPE
